The Titus Consulting Group was formed in St Charles, Illinois by Steven L. Titus. Steve launched the successful Sears Hometown Stores from scratch for Sears. This format now has over 900 stores and has plans for 500 more stores. It is the most successful off mall business at Sears. He also led the entire Hardlines (Home Appliances, Home Electronics, Tools, Paint, Lawn & Garden, Sporting Goods and Plumbing) business at Sears. He managed a $450M payroll budget and a $125M capital budget. He then proposed, developed and launched the successful Sears Home Appliance Showroom Stores, now at 53 stores with a goal of opening 300-500 more. He led numerous turnarounds of multiple business units and is viewed by peers and in the Hardlines industry and an expert in this field.
